Exercise to Lose Belly Fat in One Week at Home is a perfect way to burn excess body fat and get lean and sexy. However, it is not easy as a lot of people think that it can be done easily without going to a gym or any special exercise equipment. The first thing you need is motivation. One exercise to lose belly fat in one week at home that you can do easily is the basic crunch. What you need to do is hold a flat board with your feet flat on the floor and your hands touching the board with both hands. Now, twist your body to the right and left and crunch your lower stomach as you simultaneously pull your head and upper body towards the left and right. It is important that you must keep your chin and chest up during the exercise. Try to exhale while you are doing the crunch.

To perform the crunches, you need to lie flat on your back. Then, lift your knees. Lift your hips by bending it and then raise your upper body and your shoulders. To do the three sets, lift each of your arms above your head and then curl your spine backwards.

Do five sets of fifty repetitions with four reps. per set and ten seconds rest between each set. For your weight-loss workout, it is advisable that you start off slowly and increase the number of repetitions as you feel comfortable. The ideal number of repetitions is sixty-five to seventy repetitions with three seconds rest between each set.

Another effective exercise to tone the abdominal muscles and hamstrings is the side crunch. To perform this exercise, stand with your feet apart and your hands behind your head. Then, straighten your arms and place your palms on the sides of your hips. With your hands placed in this position, cross your arms over your chest and then bend your elbows and knees slightly. In this position, your lower back needs to be pushed upwards and your knees should be bent.

Sit upright with your buttocks close to your legs and your knees drawn up. Now, slowly lean backwards until your waist line is parallel to the floor and then raise your buttocks and slowly exhale releasing your air. You have to inhale deeply before releasing the air from your lungs. After doing this, squeeze your glutes and then repeat this exercise for at least thirty times. This exercise will help in burning away excess amount of calories.

Thirdly, perform cardio exercise. If you can perform this exercise for about three minutes without taking too much break in between, then it would be great. You can perform this cardio exercise by walking slowly while breathing slowly through pursed lips. You have to keep your heart rate under control by counting the number of times you breathe in and out.

Jumping rope is also one of the most effective ab exercises. When you jump rope, it helps in reducing belly fat and tones your leg muscles. The jumping rope is also known as ab roll. To do this exercise, simply put your hand behind your head and then put your feet behind your head. While holding the rope in one hand, kick the rope in a smooth motion. This ab exercise helps in strengthening the muscles of the thighs, calves and the hamstrings.
